NPS – Water System Replacement – Big Bend, TX

Project Description:  This project included installation of approximately 1,000 LF of 4 inch HDPE water line and 6 inch HDPE water line on a steep rocky slope, demolition of a 400,000 gallon above grade steel water tank and installation of a new 200,000 gallon glass fused to steel above grade water tank with foundation.  Also included was the replacement of a valve vault at the tank, installation of a pressure transducer in the valve vault, installation of float switches in the tank and control system modifications for communication of pressure transducer and float switches to the existing water control system.

Contract Amount:  $1,004,440
