Summary/Objective: The Construction Superintendent is the on-site representative at construction sites. The Construction Superintendent coordinates on site construction activities and supervises Ridgway Valley Enterprises, Inc. (“RVE”) personnel. This includes ensuring the project progresses on schedule, verifying materials and equipment are delivered on time, and coordinating the work of the various trades such that workers do not interfere with one another. The Construction Superintendent also works closely with the RVE Project Manager assigned to the project.
Compensation & Benefits: The starting salary for this position will range from $1,440.00 per week to $1,600.00 per week, dependent upon experience and ability. Project Coordination
• Identifies project bid opportunities through various sources (i.e., WCCA, BidNet) and
communicates with management team to determine acceptability for bidding
• Sets up bid proposal files, creates estimating books, works with the estimating team to identify
specific proposal responsibilities, ensures proposal deadlines are met, and creates final proposal
document
• Maintains and distributes ongoing estimating schedule and follows up with estimating team as
necessary
• Sets up job files for awarded projects along with sending requests for performance and payment

• Coordinates the hiring process and paperwork for new hires including DOT driver
processing
• Manages the annual open enrollment period for health, dental, and vision insurance, reviews
eligibility with employees, and processes necessary health related insurance forms
• Processes SIMPLE IRA retirement enrollment
• Coordinates and manages the worker’s compensation program and ensures reporting
compliance
• Maintains the various training and certifications required for field operations
• Handles renewals for VETS 4212, fire suppression, cost containment, and others, as

• Maintains employee motor vehicle reports (MVRs) and works with insurance company in management
of approved driver list for company vehicles

Safety Coordination
• Sources various safety topics and works with field management team to coordinate & maintain the

• Develops and processes OSHA 300 reporting
Travel Management
• Coordinates travel arrangements for employees including motel rooms and airline reservations, as
necessary
• Maintains and distributes appropriate meal reimbursement funds for “per diem” payment to
traveling employees; requires management of necessary cash box
General Office Duties
• Manages website updates including plan room project and document coordination through company
dropbox account
• Manages generic email account for the company
• Coordinates and manages company parties
• Processes necessary office posters, memos and flyers
• Maintains office supplies and shops virtually or physically, as necessary, to replenish

Accounting Clerk Backup (to assist in Accounting Clerk’s absence or work overload)
